Is a maternity shoot for just me?
This it totally up to you. We can do the shoot with just you and your belly, or we can include your family. whatever you are comfortable with.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
We want to plan this around when they need to eat, or have just eaten, so they're nice and sleepy usually in the mornings.
When during labor do I call you?
You can call me when you're headed to your birthing place, and then again when you are in active labor, between 6/7 cm and no longer able to talk through contractions.
Can we wear anything for a maternity shoot?
Yes. you can bring and wear your own outfits for this shoot. I do have one light blue dress option available.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Absolutely. I will do my best to make sure you are as comfortable as you can be during our session. You can also bring a support person if it will help you.
Why is Birth photography more expensive?
While I love to capture these moments for you, it means I have to leave my family. I am on call for you, 24/7 a week prior to your due date and a week after. There is also no telling how fast you will progress and how long I will be with you.
